I am the Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Memorial. I am a PISD alum. I went to UNT for my undergrad degree and TWU for my master's degree with a focus on bilingual speech therapy. This will be my third year at Memorial. When I am not working, I like to travel with my husband, I like to cook, bake, watch movies and play with my 3yr old Pomeranian Atlas.

Hello! My name is Marina Juarez Edwards. I am thrilled to be a speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Memorial Elementary! I live in Dallas with my husband and our three young kids. We have a pet dog named Scout. On the weekends we spend most of our time cheering on our kids at their sporting events. I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas State University. I started my career in Plano ISD at Beaty Early Childhood School in 2005. I worked at Beaty ECS for 10 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Now that all of my kids are in school, I'm excited to be back in Plano ISD doing what I love. My ultimate goal is to build positive relationships with each of my students and their families to help them become the best communicators they can be. I believe that meaningful progress in communication begins with trust and connection. My approach centers on building strong relationships with students, empowering them to grow through collaboration, not compliance.
